Introduction

   In Digital TV and Broadcast system, TS Re-multiplexer is a key device, which could mix several Single-program TS or Multi-program TS streams that have been compressed and encoded in head-end into one TS according to customers requirement, and also put the additional information such as EPG, CA, digital broadcast, and so on into the output TS. 

   TS Re-multiplexer is a professional device to realize the functions mentioned above and could have offline setup and operation through the LCD front panel. It can multiplex up to 8 input TS streams at the same time. With ASI input port and ASI or E3/DS3 output port, the input TS bit rate can be up to 216Mbps and output bit rate up to 120 Mbps. By setting up supplementary data input gate, the SI Table generated in the external Service Information server can be injected into output TS real time. In this way, the incremental business such as EPG and digital broadcast can be realized.

System Composition

ASI input port:

   2-8 DVB ASI ports: Through the port, one SPTS or MPTS is inputted and after the processing, during which empty package and unnecessary data are filtered, all necessary useful data comes out.

Data output port

•    ASI output port: It can output DVB TS and the output bit rate can be up to 120Mbps.
•    E3/DS3 output port: It is compliant with G703 standard and outputs the DVB TS with regular bit rate.
